Volunteer-Supported Effort Met Goal Well Ahead of May 4 Deadline; Nomination Papers Signed By Voters In Every County In Commonwealth

Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley issued the following statement today regarding the anti-bullying legislation released by the Joint Committee on Education yesterday.

On Monday, February 22, Attorney General Martha Coakley will attend local Democratic caucuses in Worcester to speak with voters in the community. 

This weekend, Attorney General Martha Coakley will attend local Democratic caucuses in Medford, Fitchburg, Newton, and Framingham. 

On Thursday, February 18, Attorney General Martha Coakley will attend local Democratic caucuses in Everett to speak with voters in the community. 

On Saturday, February 13, Attorney General Martha Coakley will attend local Democratic caucuses around the state to speak with voters in each community.  This week, Coakley took out nomination papers to seek re-election as Attorney General.

Attorney General Martha Coakley’s Office has reached settlement agreements with four Massachusetts restaurant meal delivery companies to resolve allegations that the companies misclassified their drivers as independent contractors in violation of Massachusetts Law.

An Essex Superior Court judge found a North Andover man guilty of failing to construct sunrooms for over 20 homes that were ordered through his company.

During the past year, Attorney General Coakley’s Health Care Division has conducted an extensive investigation into the contracting practices between commercial health care insurers and health care providers (hospitals and physicians), specifically examining health care prices and how those prices are negotiated.  According to the report, there are serious system-wide failings in our commercial health care marketplace that threaten access to affordable, quality healthcare.
